Plato, Time and Eternity

I know. I know. It’s been almost a year since I blogged. What’s happened to me?

Short answer: I’ve been building other peoples’ websites and blogs (, including a brand new Daniel Training Network website.

Long story short, the Lord has had my focus elsewhere over the last year even though I have longed to blog it up so many times.

With that out of the way, I wanted to reengage my blog audience with an edited video of my good friend John Harrigan addressing the subjects of Plato, time and eternity.

Socrates influenced Plato, Plato had a pupil named Aristotle, Aristotle then had a pupil by the name of Alexander…”the Great”, who spread Plato’s thinking throughout the known world at the time. Then guys by the name of Clement and Origen established a school with the express purpose of assimilating Christianity into Greek philosophical thought. The rest is history. :)

John shares about how Plato’s influence on Christianity eventually redefined key realities of worldview (deep level assumptions that we rarely question) and ultimately redefined what a believer lives unto.
